New Facebook Feature To Allow All Users Unlock Their Accounts With Facial Recognition

Social Media giant Facebook has come up with a brilliant idea that would help Facebook users to easily login or gain access to their locked account when they can't use other forms of recovery.

According to TechCrunch, Facebook is testing a new feature that would let its users use their face to login, authenticate a login or recover a locked  account. This facial recognition feature would come handy mostly to those whose account have been locked and can't use the two-factor authentication SMS or their email account to unlock their account.

TechCrunch got this reply from Facebook when they asked what the feature was all about.

"We are testing a new feature for people who want to quickly and easily verify account ownership during the account recovery process. This optional feature is available only on devices you 've already used to login. It is another step, alongside two-step authentication SMS. that were taking to make sure account owners can confirm their identity."
TNW's Matt Navarra shared a screenshot sent to him by Social Media researcher Devesh Logendran on twitter.

This test feature which is available to just a few people for now would be embraced by many people who will be find this method quite fast during account recovery.
