16-Year-Old Who Hacked Apple Servers And Stole Over 90Gb Of Data Walks Free

Remember the 16-year-old Australian kid who was arrested for repeatedly hacking into the computer systems of Apple and accessed over 90GB of private data? Yeah, the kid won't be serving jail time but will serve an eight month probation instead.

As reported before, the teenager who could not be named due to privacy concerns is from Melbourne, Australia, and was accused of hacking several times into Apple servers between June 2015 and April 2017.

Within that period, the teenager downloaded over 90GB of secure files, including some extremely secure authorised keys used to grant login access to users, as well as multiple accounts.

During a raid conducted by the police, several hacking tools were found with instruction on how to use them in a folder called 'Hack hacky hacky.'


The hacker pleaded guilty to the charges labeled against him by the FBI and the Australian Federal Police during a court hearing. However, the court didn't convict him due to the fact that he had enrolled in a University where he is studying criminology and cyber safety course.

"Your offending is serious. It was sustained, sophisticated, and a successful attack on the security of a major international corporation," the magistrate told the teenager.

Investigator handling the case at that time said the teen method 'worked flawlessly' until he was caught.

While speaking to the Guardian, Apple assured customers that no personal data were compromised during the hack, and that their security professionals responded to the threat posed by the hacker.

"In recent weeks, intelligence operations have arrested 14 squirrels within Iran's borders," state-sponsored news agency IRNA reported. "The squirrels were carrying spy gear of foreign agencies, and were stopped before they could act. Thanks to the alertness of our intelligence service."


Confirming the report, the Iranian police commander Estmaeil Ahmadi-Moqadam confirmd the report, saying that a number of squirrels bearing foreign spy gear had been arrested within the Iranian borders.

"I heard of this but i have no specific knowledge on the subject," the Iranian police said.

The use of animals as spying agents have increased since World War 2. During the war, the Germans attached cameras to pigeons to take aerial pictures. Pigeons were also used to fly out critical intelligence matter out of occupied France during the second World War.

The US is said to have trained Dolphins and Seals to identify underwater mines, and even disable enemy swimmers too. Also, the US Marines in Kuwait are said to have chickens for a -tech chemical detection system.

Apple's new set of iPhones are exactly what most iPhone lovers had hoped for after last years's launch of the iPhone X. According to a research carried out by TechInsights, while estimating and looking into each cost part on the iPhone XS Max, the results sees Apple charging $1,249 for a device that the overall production costs just $443. That's almost three times the cost of production!

Though the selesai cost of production involves research, development and marketing, the hefty price tag can't still be justified.

 The display on the iPhone XS Max, a 6.5-inch OLED panel which is the largest display ever used on an iPhone costs $80.50. The iPhone XS Max display is an upgrade from last years iPhone X 5.8-inch display which costs just $77.27. Now thats just a $3 difference despite the obvious difference between the two.

Another perkara associated with the new set of iPhones is the charging time when using wired charging...erm, even the wireless charger.


According to a break down by PhoneArena, charging from flat to full with the bundled charger takes about 3 hours 3 minutes on the iPhone XS, while the iPhone takes about 3 hours 29 minutes -- findings PhoneArena reviewer Daniel Petrov described as "borderline criminal."

Despite the heavy price of these devices, their charging speed still lag behind cheaper Android rivals from LG and OnePlus.

"With most android phones, I can plug in my phone,take a shower and know that i have enough battery to get me several more hours of battery life," Todd Haselton of CNBC said. "With the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, unless I use a bigger charger like the one included with the iPad, I don;t get the same experience."

Apple however, came out with a lame excuse for its decision to make a tiny charger. The Cupertino company said its reason for opting for a tiny charger was because her customers preferred it to larger ones due to its portable nature which makes it easy to be carried about.

Do you know that there's a full text adventure game hidden with Google.com? Yes, there's a full text adventure game hidden within Google's Dev console and it's available to anyone... erm, only if you know how to find it.

Well, don't worry, we will show you how to find the hidden text game so that you can also join and be part of the fun which has been trending for some days now.

Discovered by Reddit user attempt_number_1, the game sees yo playing as a "big blue G" while you search for your other friends which are the remaining letters that make up the Google logo.

To go about this, first, you will need the right browser for it. Supported browsers includes; Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera Mini and Microsoft Edge. Though the game works on the Edge browser, the text wrapping isn't right on it, and Safari browser doesn't support it. However, i will still recommend Google Chrome because the other browsers might give you error at any point.

After you've gotten the right browser, the next step is to Google the term "text adventure".

Once the search result comes out, on your Windows device hit Control+Shift+J while on Mac devices hit Command+Option+J to access the Dev console. The moment  you hit the command, you will see a message like "Would you like to play a game? (yes/no)"

Reply by typing Yes followed by the enter key. Now you will embark on an adventure as you explore Google campus trying to find the remaining letters of the search engine.


For those who don't know how to play a text world adventure game, it is simple and not difficult. To control your character, you simply type in commands to go through the puzzles and story. I began the game and found myself in Google's headquarters in mountain View, California. While browsing around the environment, i got to a "large field" where i saw some "googlers playing ultimate frisbee and dodgeball."

In no time, "a horde of lost nooglers (new googlers) surrounds" me and begin to ask how to get around the place! well, i helped them out anyway.

The game is fun and very good for killing time. You should equally give it a try.

This game has now been included in Google's list of easter eggs on Wikipedia.

Oppo Find X With A Massive 10Gb Of Ram Gets Certified

OPPO is set to release another Android device, a new variant of the OPPO Find X. This device is set to come with a whopping 10GB of RAM to power it.

According to a TENAA listing, the OPPO Find X device will be shipped with 256GB of internal storage, and as well 10GB of RAM. Now, if this is true, the OPPO X variant will be the first device to carry such RAM power.

 The current OPPO Find X comes with 8GB of RAM, has a very thin chin below the display and has almost no bezels.

Announced back in June this year, the OPPO Find X came with a curved display, while the display itself is made out of metal and glass.


The device has a 6.42-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display and is being powered by a Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC. It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo pre-installed with OPPO's ColorOS 5.1 skin, and a massive 3,730mAH battery size to keep the device running all day.

One key feature of the OPPO Find X was the sliding mechanism. The camera on the OPPO Find X is buried within the device, and thus, when ever the user wants to use the cameras, the sliding mechanism comes into play.

Whenever the user wants to make use of the camera, maybe to take pictures or to scan the users face (3D Facial Recognition) the cameras will have to move in the right position for it to be able to work. The device doesn't come with a finger print scanner.

HP yesterday announced the Spectra Folio, a slim convertible PC that comes with an impressive leather design.

The Spectra Folio is a PC clad in genuine leather instead of the everyday plastic or metal design we see. This leather design gives it a unique and premium appearance.

This HP PC, according to how the user wants it, the PC can serve as a tablet, or it can be folded halfway to cover the keyboard so that the track alone are visible to the operator, or can also be used as a regular laptop.

The Spectre Folio will be the first device to use Intel's low power display technology which helps in reducing screen battery use in half. This PC comes with a monster battery. You Can Now Play Assasin's Creed Odyssey Via Chrome Browser

Internet giant Google has entered the video gaming world with a streaming service called Project Stream.

Google made the announcement on Monday, describing the Project Stream service as a technical test that will allow users to stream video games directly from the Chrome browser.

"Streaming media has transformed the way we consume music and video, making it easy to instantly access your favorite content,"Google's Product Manager, Catherine Hsiao said in a blog post. "Its a technically complex process that has come a long way in a few short years, but the next technical frontier for streaming will be much more demanding than video."

Video games usually requires heavy downloads and installs from third-party clients which usually takes up storage space. However, with the coming of Google's Project Stream, users won't need to do all the download and installation. All that will be required is a Chrome browser, a Google account, and a stable Internet connection that can deliver up to 25 MB per second of Internet speed.

"The idea of streaming such graphically-rich content that requires near-instant interaction between the game controller and the graphics on the screen poses a number of challenges," Google's blog read. "When streaming TV or movies, consumers are comfortable with a few seconds of buffering at the start, but streaming high-quality games latency measured in milliseconds, with no graphics degradation."

Google will let a limited number of users to try out the service for free by playing Assasin's Creed Odyssey which will be released by Ubisoft worldwide on Oct. 5. Same day that Google be letting some users to test the streaming service. Those who want to sign up for the Project Stream must be above the age of 17, and must be a resident of the US. Though Google didn't provide much details on the technology behind the test, we however, know that Google wants to save users all the hassles of download and unnecessary third party installs by providing them with with a triple-A gaming experience on the Chrome browser.

Android Users Can Control Their Phone Hands-Free With Google Voice Access

Google has released an app that allow Android users to control their device with out having to physically touch or operate it.

The app which is called Voice Access was released by the Internet giant to help people who cannot access their device touch screen due to certain chronic or temporary reasons access their phone with only voice commands.

Actions that can performed on the Voice Access app includes; navigating through apps, compose and editing text, talking to Google Assistant, and also the ability to create gestures with certain voice commands

According to Google Patrick Clary, Product manager, Central accessibility Team, Google:

 "When using the Voice Access, you can compose and edit a text measure hands free by saying 'Ok Google,' and open your favourite app with the 'open' command. Then, select the text field by speaking the number Voice Access displays next to it. After saying your message out loud, like 'would you like to meet for lunch tomorrow?' you can edit the text using phrases like 'replace tomorrow with Saturday' to change the way you want to meet." 


Google explained that the Voice Assistant app is focused towards users with issues such as sclerosis, arthritis, Parkinson's disease, Spinal cord injury and other disabilities. The Internet giant also made it known that the app can also be of help to those who are busy and can't use their hands at that moment to operate their device. Such as people in the kitchen, those jogging, or those whose hands have been occupied in one way or the other.

Those interested in the app can download it from the Google Play Store and then go to settings - Accessibility and then turn on the Voice Access switch. For those who just downloaded the app, a setup walk through and tutorial on how to use the app will be shown to the user.

To take advantage of the Voice Access app, users will need to activate the 'Ok Google' command so that it can be called upon anytime without having to press the home key. Find a list of Google's voice commands here.

The Voice Access app has been available since April 2016 in a beta state, and the Voice Access s available globally in English for now. However, Google said that additional language support will be coming in the future.

According to a test carried out by smartphone camera benchmark website DxOMark, the iPhone XS Max came second to Huawei's P20 Pro during an intensive camera test that touched various aspects such as texture, noise, zoom, flash, bokeh, and many other areas..

 The test carried out involved top premium devices such as; the Google Pixel 2, Xiaomi Mi8, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Plus, Apple iPhone X, HTC U12+, Huawei P20 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Apple's iPhone XS Max.

Apple's last year iPhone X came last on the list with a score of 97, while Google Pixel 2 came second to the last with a score of 98.

Autofocus and image stabilization work swiftly and efficiently, and the caera is very reliable overall, consistently delivering good results."

However, the smartphone camera benchmark website, went on to add that; "In lower light, luminance noise becomes a little more intrusive than with other high-end phones, and the iPhone's zoom mode lags somewhat behind the competition (specifically, the Huawei P20 Pro) as well."

Samsung Galaxy A9s With 6 Cameras Leaked Few Days To Launch Date

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphone, a device that came with a triple setup camera on its rear. Not long after the launch of the Galaxy A7 device, rumours had it that the South Korean might be preparing to launch another device, but this time, with a quad camera setup at the rear.

According to a German website called All About Samsung. A website known for leaking specs and details about up coming Samsung products, said the rumoured device will be unveiled as Samsung Galaxy A9s.

Details revealed by the German website shows that the device will be fueled by a Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 6 GB RAM. The device will come with an inbuilt storage of 128 GB, and of course, there will be a microSD card slot for additional storage.


The Galaxy A9s will come with a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen, an Infinity Display with Full HD+ resolution of 2200 x 1080 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

The focal point of this device is the quad camera setup. The quad camera setup includes a 24-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 10-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture  and 2x optical zoom.

Other specs includes a 3,720mAh battery, a USB-C charging port with 2.0 quick charge, and the device will arrive with Android 8.1 Oreo pre-installed.

This device is expected to be released by Samsung on 11 Oct, 2018 during their 4X Fun event. Lets just keep our fingers crossed and wait if it eventually gets released.

Iphone Xs Series Has Already Out Shine The Iphone 8 Series In First Week Sales

Apple's latest set of iPhones, the iPhone XS and XS Max has already over taken its predecessors in market shares, Flurry Blog reports.

The report said that the new iPhone models have captured more shares of Apple customers more than last years set of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus just a week after launch.The report however, said that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models still remained the most popular Apple smartphone.

According to the analysis from Flurry blog, the iPhone XS and the XS Max, in terms of launch-week sales have beaten the iPhone 8 series. Thus, climbing up the rank of all Apple smartphones in terms of market share.

The market share analysis blog explained that the new set of iPhones gained 1.1% of Apple phablet customer share during the first week of release, while last year's set of iPhone 8 series got a 0.76% during the same time frame. This rise in sales is 45% over last years set of Apples iPhone release.


This analysis also showed that not alone did this year's set of iPhone XS line get an improvement in market share over last year's set of iPhone 8 series, the iPhone XS series has also gotten 7% more sales than last years set of iPhone release. That is inclusive of the iPhone X!

Despite the all these improvements from the iPhone XS series, the iPhone 7 still remained the market share leader with a 15.4% share of all Apple devices in use today. The iPhone 7 Plus is the closest with a share of 12.73%.

Flurry blog is predicting that the iPhone XS series will see more sales during the holiday season, and the release of the iPhone XR will even boost more further sales.

"While the XS and XS Max sale appear strong during their first week, we believe that the trens will continue over the holidays, further supported by the release of the XR," Flurry blog read.

Apple Hires Police To Watch Over Stores Amid Robberies

Apple has hired the police to guard its California stores following long months of continued heists where tens of thousands worth of Apple products have been stolen.

According CBS Sacramento, Apple has contracted with the police to stand guard in its California stores so as to thwart any form of robbery. The police department said ever since the police began to stand guard in those store, there hasn't been any attempt or further robbery incident.

 These privately contracted policemen are to stand guard in Apple stores located in Roseville and Sacramento, and will be payed by Apple and not with tax payers money.

Over the past few months, there have been several incident where hooded thieves walks into Apple stores and start grabbing iPhones, iPads and Macbooks on display.


Last month, hooded gang of thieves robbed Apple stores in Burlingame, CBS Sacramento, Apple has contracted with the police to stand guard in its California stores so as to thwart any form of robbery. However, the introduction of these policemen will kill off further planned attacks on those Apple stores.

Sony Sues California Man For Selling Jailbroken Ps4 Consoles

Sony Interactive Entertainment has sued a California man for selling a jail broken PlayStation 4 console filled with pirated games. The lawsuit seeks damages too.

According to Torrent freak, the petition accused Eric Scales for selling jailbroken PS4 consoles on eBay and on his own site where he is alleged to offer jail breaking services. 

By circumventing the console's copy protection and loading them with with bootlegged games, the accused violated both Sony's copyrights and Digital Millennium Copyright Act.


The accused didn't hide his intentions as he made everything open. The petition noted that Scales encouraged people to "stop buying games" on his website. To catch the suspect, Sony bought two of the consoles from Scales and saw printed instructions on how to install illegal game copies. Scales even wrote a message encouraging people to "enjoy all games for free."

The petition also seeks an injunction against the accused forcing him to stop all alleged infringing activities, and as well dispose hard drives, all jailbroken PS4 consoles, and any pirated games that may have been downloaded.

Husband Divorces Wife After He Caught Her Cheating On Google Street Map

A Peruvian man has divorced his wife after he caught her cheating with another man on Google Street Map.

According to local news media, the man was searching on Google street Map for the best route to reach a popular bridge in Lima, the capital of Peru, when he stumbled upon a figure that looked familiar in one of the photos.

One thing that caught his attention was the womans clothe in which was putting on. When he zoomed close, he found out that the woman was actually his wife. The woman wore a white top, jeans and heals and was sitting on a bench while a male figure lay across her lap as she stroked his hair.

The angry man confronted his wife with the pictures and she admitted of having an affair with another man, and not being faithful to her husband.


One thing you have to note here is that these photos were taken by Google Street Map at Puento de los supiros de Barranco (called Beridge of Sighs of the ravine), back in 2013. However, the couples were already married then.

The man went onto Facebook and shared the photos with his followers, and these were some response he got;

"What a small world it is... It would have been enough if she said to her husband that she did not love him any more." one Facebook user said.

Another wrote: "Our of 100 women, 90 per cent are not loyal, the rest are loyal and only have one eye (hahaha) or are immortal (hahaha)."

Its official! Google has finally unveiled the Pixel devices during its launch on Tuesday after weeks of rumours and leaks.

As most of the rumours suggests, the Pixel 3 comes with slim bezels at the button and top (though the bezels are still big compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9). The Pixel 3 XL however, has a different look. The device comes with a notch... yes, i said a notch and a trimmed bezels.

The Google Pixel 3 XL carries a larger battery and display bigger than the Pixel 3. Though that doesn't mean that the Pixel 3 is a lesser phone. From the specs above, the Pixel 3 carries the same camera, same Snapdragon 845 chipset, wireless charging and does offer the same experience as it is on the bigger Pixel XL.


This years Pixel devices are bigger than last years model. The Pixel 3 comes with a 5.5-inch display while the Pixel 3 XL comes with a 6.3-inch display.

Google's focus on its Pixel devices have always been the cameras. This years device comes with two front-facing selfie cameras to deliver the perfect group selfie. The camera delivers wide and regular selfies.

The Google devices will run on Android 9 Pie to give users the best Android experience. There is also a gesture capability on the Pixel devices.

Google has promised that the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will receive software updates for at least three years. Those interested in the Pixel phones should expect update till 2021, maybe Google might still extend the date for them.

The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will come in three colour variant; White, Black and Pink. The Pixel 3 will be sold at a starting price of $899 and $869. The Pixel stand, the wireless charger will be sold for $79.

Here Is Google's Solution To Hide The Pixel 3 Xl’S Ugly Notch

Google recently launched the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices with nice specs and features that put the two device up against other flagship devices in the market.

The Pixel 3 comes with a 5.5-inch (18:9) 2160x1080 AMOLED, 443 PPI display while the Pixel 3 XL comes with a 6.3-inch (18.5:9) 2960x1440 AMOLED, 523 PPI display.

The difference between the two Pixel devices is the screen size, battery size, and the notch. Yes the notch. The notch has always been one thing that most Android users hate. However, it seems Google has come up with a solution to hide the notch from the Pixel 3 XL device for those who hate that crazy notch.

According to Twitter handle Made By Google, the Alphabet company has come up with a solution that hides the notch from the Google Pixel device. Well, the notch doesn't go away entirely, but instead, the status kafe is blacked out entirely so as to make the notch less visible...giving it a bezel look.

Could this method of  hiding the notch be the solution or even making the situation worse?

Well, for now the feature isn't available for users to try it out as it is still in developer-option mode. However, we will keep watch and see what the outcome will be when its finally released for users.
