For years, we have patiently been waiting for the first foldable device .....until last year when things became more serious. South Korean giant Samsung is the company leading in bendable technology, though last year another company beat it to be the first to launch a bendable device. Well, the South Korean company doesn't seem to be in a rush to launch the device as it has taken its time in research and development so as to come out with a phone that will be appealing to everyone. That time to launch this foldable device is close as the tech company announced February 20 as the day. According to Phone Arena, "the folder phone will be released at twice the price of a premium phone, so a strong user case is needed," the website quoted the senior Samsung official. "That for Samsung seems to be the unique form factor that brings abilities like running three different apps at once, or unfurling in a tablet-sized media consumption machine when you need it for watching videos or browsing," Phone Arena said. The Samsung Galaxy foldable device is expected to come with bunch of expensive technologies that aren't available on any device yet. Another device that is expected to be expensive apart from the Galaxy foldable device is the Galaxy S10 that will be 5G capable.
The launch confirms most of the leaked specs right. As you will expect, the device focuses more on the display, camera, in-screen fingerprint scanner and a host of other newly added features.
The newly launched device comes with a dynamic AMOLED panel with HDR10+ support (thats a big selling point), an upgraded camera that has three-sensor arrangement (S10 and S10+) and quad-camera setup for the S10 5G, while the S10e trims its down to just two cameras.
Samsung surprised its users by bringing an ultra-wide 123-degree lens to let users capture more of a scene than ever before. There's also dual OIS and Al enhancement too.
These Galaxy devices comes with wireless charging capability, and as well has the ability to reverse its charge -- that is, the Galaxy devices can also charge other gadgets wirelessly. In fact, a user can even connect a cable to charge any of the newly launched Galaxy devices while the device itself charges another gadget.
Unlike other Android devices that are made specifically for gaming, the Galaxy S10 was built on a "unity platform" with Al based on-device gaming performance optimization software and premium hardware including Dolby Atmos for gaming mode a vapour chamber cooling system
The device also comes with 6/8GB and even a monster 12GB of RAM size, and also an internal memory of 128/256/512GB according to the variant. Do not forget that this device comes with the punch hole. Now lets look at the specs of each of the newly launched Galaxy devices.
Available colours for these devices are white, black, blue and pink. The Galaxy S10+ will also be available as a ceramic edition in black or white option.
Starting price fo the device goes this way: the Galaxy S10e starts at $750, S10 $900 and S10+ 1,000. Theres no word for the price for the S10 5G variant, however, those that pre-orders the Galaxy S10+ and S10 5G will get a free pair of the newly launched wireless Galaxy Buds.
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphone, a device that came with a triple setup camera on its rear. Not long after the launch of the Galaxy A7 device, rumours had it that the South Korean might be preparing to launch another device, but this time, with a quad camera setup at the rear.
According to a German website called All About Samsung. A website known for leaking specs and details about up coming Samsung products, said the rumoured device will be unveiled as Samsung Galaxy A9s.
Details revealed by the German website shows that the device will be fueled by a Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 6 GB RAM. The device will come with an inbuilt storage of 128 GB, and of course, there will be a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The Galaxy A9s will come with a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen, an Infinity Display with Full HD+ resolution of 2200 x 1080 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.
The focal point of this device is the quad camera setup. The quad camera setup includes a 24-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 10-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom.
Other specs includes a 3,720mAh battery, a USB-C charging port with 2.0 quick charge, and the device will arrive with Android 8.1 Oreo pre-installed.
This device is expected to be released by Samsung on 11 Oct, 2018 during their 4X Fun event. Lets just keep our fingers crossed and wait if it eventually gets released.
