Over 50 people were evacuated from an Apple store in Zurich on Tuesday when an overheated iPhone battery injured a repair man and filled the store with smoke.
According to the Zurich police, the incident occurred as the repairman tried removing the battery which overheated in the process, burning his hands slightly. Seven people received medical treatment as a result of the incident, though they were not hospitalized. One of the male workers quickly rushes towards the exploded device and then begins to take pictures of the device. The male worker said the exploded device was an iPhone, and from the picture, a device that looks like an iPhone 6S can be seen.

China: A two-year-old boy has locked his mothers iPhone for an equivalent of 47 years after repeatedly putting the wrong passcode. According to the South China Morning Post, the mother of the boy gave the toddler the phone to watch an educational video only to return and find that the phone has been disabled for 25 million minutes after repeated attempts of the wrong passcode. Each time the wrong the passcode was pressed, the phone was disabled for a period of time. repeated wrong attempts accumulated disabled period to 25 million minutes. A technician at an Apple store in Shanghai told the woman to either wait for 47 years for the phone to return to the normal state so that she can unlock it, or just wipe the device clean and then re-install the files back.

The developer explained that once the user name has been set to 'root', anyone can login with a blank password (the password field would be left blank). However, he went on to explain how to stop this.
Mac users can disable this flaw is to enable the root account on your Mac and then setup a password for it. When this is done, no one would be able to login without the need to password. Apple has made an official statement and has admitted that they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix for it "We are working on a software update to address this issue. In the meantime, setting a root password prevents unauthorized access to your Mac. To enable this the Root User and set a password, please follow the instructions here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204012. If a Root User is already enabled, to ensure a blank password is not set, please follow the instructions from the 'Change the root password' section," an official statement from Apple read.
