Hackers Selling 6 Million Instagram Account User Data For $10 On The Darkweb

  A group of unknown hackers who earlier this week, exploited an Instagram bug and used it to get the phone numbers and email addresses of 6 Million Instagram account users are now selling those information on the DarkWeb.

 A researcher from Kaspersky Labs found the same vulnerability and reported it to Instagram. According to the researcher, "the issue actually resided in the Instagram mobile API, specifically in the password reset option, which appranently exposed mobile numbers and emails addresses of the users in the JSON responses - but no passwords". the researcher told The Hackernews.

 The hackers whose targets were Instagram verified accounts, Politicians, Media companies, Sport stars and of course, A-list celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Emma Watson, Beyonce, Floyd Mayweather, Leonard Dicaprio etc. The hackers have all these trove of information for sale on a website called Doxagram, an Instagram lookup service where anyone can search for information of Instagram users at the rate of $10 per search query.

  Doxagram, the website provided by the hackers did not last long as the authorities quickly brought it down but the hackers quickly moved the website to the DarkWeb. The DailyMail identified a user named "Doxagram" in a Bitcoin lembaga where he advertised the DarkWeb new Instagram lookup site for those interested in the stolen trove.

 Instagram have admitted the security bug and is said to have patched the issues although they gave the number of affected accounts to be very low.

"Although we cannot determine which specific accounts may have been impacted, we believe it was a low percentage of Instagram accounts," Instagram CTO Mike Krieger wrote.

 However, Instagram says it is working with the law enforcement authorities and promises a safer Instagram for users while emphasizing that users security has always been their utmost concern.

Facebook and Instagram suffered a brief service outage in Europe, South America and some part of Asia and the US.

 The two social media giants experienced the down time at the same time on Wednesday 1:02PM (East Time) leaving users on the social network without access.

 According to a map displaying the outage powered by DownDetector, a service that keeps track of online sites facing connectivity issues, the outage affected some parts of Asia and a faint part of Africa.

 Facebook users got message such as "Sorry something went wrong, we're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can" when they tried to access Facebook.

 Instagram users trying to access the Instagram via the app were blocked from browsing or uploading anything, while those using the web got "5XX Server Error" message. According Lifewire, a 500 internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the website's server but the server could not be more specific on what the exact dilema was.

 However, as at the time of this writing, the services of both social media networks were up and running smoothly.

 Images that are shared with Facebook will be hashed to create a digital fingerprint which the company can use to I.D the same images if someone else tries to upload them. This also applies to Instagram and Messenger

Currently, Facebook is working with the Australian Office of the eSafety Commissioner to test the system in Australia.

 Speaking to the press, government e-safety commissioner Julia Inman Grant said that one in five Australian women aged 18 - 45 and one in four indigenous Australians have been victims of revenge p0rn.


"It is really important that Facebook is taking this proactive leadership step. What we'are hearing from victims is that its not just the initial betrayal of trust, its the fear and anxiety that follows them after the image has been posted," she said.

 "This lets the victim take control and be proactive in their own safety, when so often the burden is on the victim to report to multiple platforms and trace where the image has been. Our vision is that these images could be taken down from every website simultaneously."

 Facebook hopes to trial the scheme in the UK, US and Canada and  subsequently roll it out to other regions too.

In an op-ed piece on Wired which she described her tweet as sarcastic, Kate said;

"Imagine that you wanted to train a facial recognition algorithm on age-related characteristics and, more specifically, on age progression (e.g., how people are likely to look as they get older). Ideally, you'd want a broad and rigorous dataset with lots of people's pictures. It would help if you knew they were taken a fixed number of years apart - say, 10 years."

While many some people agreed with her, many others argued that the photos were already available anyway on Facebook and that it didn't need users to re-upload those photos for them to access.

Kate agreed with the fact the photos were already on Facebook but mining the photos and getting the exact date when those photos were taken would be difficult.

"People don't reliably upload pictures in chronological order, and it's not uncommon for users to post pictures of something other than themselves as a profile picture," she said. "In other words," she added. "It would be help if you had a clean, simple, helpfully labeled set of then-and-now photos."


Well, the Facebook challenge has those participating adding context as "me in 2009 and me in 2019,"and in some cases, users even indicate where and when the photos were taken. For example. "2008 at University of whatever, taken by Joe; 2018 visiting New City for this years's such-and-such event."

"Thanks to this meme, theres's now a very large dataset of carefully curated photos of people from roughly 10 years ago and now," Kate added.

On its part, a Facebook spokesperson has denied the involvement of the social network promoting the #10YearChallenge trend.

"This is a user-generated meme that went viral on its own," a Facebook spokesperson said. "Facebook did not start this trend, and the meme uses photos that already exist on Facebook. Facebook gains nothing from this meme (besides reminding us of the questionable fashion trends of 2009). As a reminder, Facebook users can choose to turn facial recognition on or off at any time."

However, some employees at Instagram and WhatsApp aren't comfortable with the new move which is seen as Facebook exerting authority over WhatsApp and Instagram, the two social network platforms he once vowed to leave alone.


Last year, several co-founders from WhatsApp and Instagram left in protest for similar reasons.

The move has also raised antitrust, privacy and security questions on Facebook's ever growing strong grip on consumers.

Rep Ro Khanna, Democrat of California also criticized the move on Twitter.

"This is why there should have been far more scrutiny during Facebook's acquisition of Instagram and WhatsApp, Which now clearly seem like horizontal mergers that should have triggered antitrust scrutiny," he said. "Imagine how different the world would be if Facebook had to compete with Instagram and WhatsApp."

Acquired by Facebook in 2013 for a reported fee of $200 million, Onavo VPN promised to limit other applications from using too much data, and as well encrypt user's personal information and connection via a secure tunnel. The company however used the app for market research.

Untuk menciptakan feeds Instagram rapi, dengan adanya pembatas frame putih menyerupai teladan di atas, maka sebelum mengunggah foto ke Instagram harus mengedit foto terlebih dahulu, yakni mengedit dengan menunjukkan frame/bingkai putih tersebut.

Cara Bikin Feeds Instagram Rapi dengan Frame Putih Menggunakan Aplikasi Google Snapseed

1. Instal aplikasi Google Snapseed dari Play Store atau Apps Store di HP sampeyan

2. Buka aplikasi Google Snapseed, dan tambahkan foto yang ingin diberi frame putih.

3. Lihat tab yang ada di bawah, pilih hidangan Alat dengan menekannya.

Sebelum melanjutkan ke menambah bingkai, sampeyan harus melaksanakan crop terlebih dulu pada foto, supaya nanti tampil di Instagram terlihat rapi. Pilih model crop persegi atau 1:1 yang menurutku paling elok untuk kerapian di Feeds nantinya. Crop juga dapat dilakukan dengan memakai aplikasi Google Snapseed dengan menentukan fitur Crop.

4. Berikutnya pilih fitur Bingkai untuk menunjukkan frame/pembatas pada foto.

5. Kemudian silahkan pilih model Bingkai/Frame (ada juga untuk bingkai warna hitam). Atur juga lebar bingkai yang ada pada bab atas, dan apabila sudah selesai mengatur, tinggal tekan tombol centang yang ada di bab pojok kanan bawah. Untuk menciptakan feeds IG rapi, samakan lebar bingkai setiap menambahkan pada foto.

6. Langkah selanjutnya untuk menyimpan, pilih tombol SELESAI atau mungkin tombol Ekspor, dan terakhir pilih saja untuk Simpan, menyerupai teladan gambar di bawah ini. Maka kesudahannya sudah dapat sampeyan lihat pada galeri hp sampeyan, dan siap untuk diunggah ke Instagram. Aplikasi InstaSave ini tampaknya sudah berganti nama menjadi aplikasi FastSave for Instagram. Silahkan sampeyan cari dan instal dari Play Store, untuk memakai aplikasi FastSave ini. Dengan memakai aplikasi ini, sampeyan dapat menyimpan foto dari Instagram tanpa harus meng-crop-nya lagi, dan pastinya juga dapat dipakai untuk menyimpan video.

Cara Menyimpan Foto/Video dari Instagram Menggunakan Aplikasi FastSave

1. Buka aplikasi FastSave for Instagram yang sudah terinstal di Android sampeyan.

2. Aktifkan FastSave Service pada aplikasi tersebut. Lihat gambar di bawah ini, pindah ke kanan menyerupai gambar untuk menyalakan. Bukti FastSave Service sudah aktif, dapat lihat pada bab atas yang sudah ditandai pada gambar di bawah ini.

3. Langsung saja buka Instagram dengan tekan tombol Open Instagram pada aplikasi FastSave, atau buka dari aplikasi IG saja juga bisa.

4. Cari foto/video yang akan didownload atau simpan ke galeri Android. Kalau sudah ketemu, eksklusif salin tautan foto/video tersebut, maka proses menyimpan/download akan berjalan. Seperti yang Nanda alami, kenapa akun IG yang Nanda gunakan tidak sanggup diprivate, penyebabnya lantaran Nanda memakai Instagram sebagai Akun Bisnis. Bisa saja hal ini kita lakukan secara tidak sadar, alasannya tidak tahu tiba-tiba kita sudah memakai Instagram sebagai akun bisnis.

Nah, solusi untuk akun Instagram yang tidak sanggup diprivasi ibarat ini ialah dengan beralih kembali memakai Instagram ke akun pribadi. Cara beralih Instagram akun bisnis ke akun eksklusif silahkan lihat di bawah ini.

1. Silahkan pergi ke Pengaturan Instagram, dan scroll ke bawah hingga ketemu opsi Akun Privat

Cara Unfollow Semua Following Instagram Massal/Sekaligus Di Android

Unfollow Semua Following Instagram Sekaligus - Meng-unfollow akun Instagram yang sebelumnya kita follow, apabila dilakukan menyerupai pada umumnya niscaya sampeyan tahu kan ya caranya (unfollow following satu-per-satu). Nah, cara unfollow following Instagram yang Nanda bagikan di sini beda Broo; kita dapat melakukannya lebih cepat tanpa harus teken tombol unfollow satu-per-satu. Di sini Nanda SHARE wacana cara unfollow semua following Instagram sekaligus secara massal.

1. Di sini yang Nanda SHARE bukan cara unfollow Instagram tanpa aplikasi; melainkan memakai aplikasi. Silahkan install aplikasi "Followesr Chief" dari Play Store untuk dipakai meng-unfollow following Instagram secara massal.

2. Silahkan buka aplikasi Followers Chief, dan ikuti petunjuk membuka aplikasi pertama kali, hingga ke tahap menyerupai gambar di bawah ini.  Kemudian pilih opsi Unfollowers.

3. Berikutnya silahkan pilih tombol Mass Unfollow, dan atur jumlah unfollow massal yang akan kita jalankan. Maksimal kita hanya dapat melaksanakan unfollow sebanyak 200 following saja untuk sekali proses. Makara apabila untuk menghabis following sebanyak 600, kita dapat melaksanakan proses sebanyak tiga kali dengan settingan maksimal unfollow 200 following setiap proses yang kita jalankan.

4. Setelah itu, silahkan tunggu jalannya proses unfollow following Instagram hingga selesai. Di bawah ini ialah tanda jikalau proses unfollowing sedang berjalan (proses).

2. Kemudian pada halaman menyerupai gambar di bawah ini, pribadi pilih opsi New Unfollowers.

3. Setelah itu kau akan melihat siapa yang gres saja unfollow Instagram kau (apabila ada). Sebagai rujukan menyerupai di bawah ini. Ada tiga orang yang gres unfollow Instagram saya.

By rolling out some of this features, the rate of online harassment or too-frequent notification will be controlled or drastically reduced in some way. Sometime in May 2018, Instagram rolled out a mute feature that allows users to continue following someone but avoid their post or stories.
