New Samsung Galaxy M Series Show Notch Display, Big Battery, To Replace Galaxy J & C Series


 Samsung has confirmed that its new set of Galaxy M device lineup would sport an infinity-V display as it prepares to take on rival Chinese devices.


The first device of the Galaxy M series was confirmed by the South Korean tech giant via a Samsung microsite and Amazon India.


According to images of the new Samsung Galaxy M device, the device will sport an infinity-V (err..water drop notch) display with a camera lense occupying the notch and the images shows slim bezels all over, though the chin isn't included in the picture.

There's a dual camera setup at the back, a finger reader, LED flash and a Samsung merk name at the back. Also, the device will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a button loud speaker and a USB Type-C port.

Samsung claims the  device will come with a large battery pack and will support three times faster charging. The South Korean tech company says the new series of Galaxy M device will come with a powerful processor and display.

"Samsung's new range of Galaxy M smartphones come with a powerful display, powerful camera, powerful battery and a powerful processor helping the smartphones deliver power-packed performance for young millennials," Gadgets.ndtv.com quoted the company's press note release on Monday.


The South Korean company has different series of Galaxy devices all in different price ranges. There's the Galaxy S and Notes which the flagship device of the company. There's also the Galaxy A series which lies in the mid-range section, and theres the budget Galaxy J and C series.

The new Galaxy M series is most likely to replace Samsung's Galaxy J and C budget device lineup. The Galaxy M lineup is likely to be: the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30

Launch of the Galaxy M series is scheduled to take place on the 28th of January. The device will first be available in India which is one of the company's biggest markets for phones.
