Geekbench Iphone Xs Max Test Beats Both Samsung Galaxy S9 And Note 9

Apple finally on Wednesday finally unveiled its much awaited set of iPhone devices which are the iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

The Cupertino company revealed the prices and specifications of the device, but as it is the culture of the company, Apple didn't reveal all specs to the audience.

The Apple devices however made their way to bench marking website Geekbench where they have undergone tests.

According to screenshots shared by LetsGoDigital, the iPhone XR which is the most affordable of the iPhone devices, received a single-core score of 4,754 and multi-core score of 9,367, all thanks to its A12 Bionic chip, iOS12 and 3GB of RAM.

This result seems to have beaten Samsung's biggest flagship devices of the year 2018; the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9. The Samsung S9 got a single-core score of 3,719 and multi-core score of 8,971 while the Samsung Note 9 got a single-core score of 3,756 and multi-core score of 8,997 points.

To crown it all, the iPhone XS Max which according to Tim Cook was the "most advanced iPhone" ever created got an incredible single-core score of 4,813 and multi-core score of 10,266 points. The iPhone XS Max  spec a 6-core A12 Bionic SoC chip, 4GB of RAM, iOS12 and other features.

Last years iPhone X got a single-core score of 4,188 and a multi-core score point of 10.069. This years Samsung flagship line up (Sansung S9 and Note9) couldn't topple that result.
