Infinix has released a new smartphone called Infinix Hot S3X, adding it to its list of devices carrying the borrowed notch from Apple's iPhone.
The device is an advanced version of the Infinix Hot S3 that was released at the beginning of this year. This device comes with some decent specs for those who are looking for an affordable device that will suite their budget.
The Infinix Hot S3X comes with a notched display screen, a 6.26-inch IPS LCD Super Full View display, HD+ resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9.
Beneath the hood is a Snapdragon 430 chipset that powers the device coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device has an internal storage capacity of 32GB, and there is also a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The device comes pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box. The Android Oreo is a modified version that has been customized with Hummingbird XOS V3.3 UI from Infinix. This device carries a battery capacity of 4000mAh that support 10W charging.
At the rear of the device is a finger print sensor and a vertical dual camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The dual cameras has a dual-LED flash and can HDR, PDAF and FHD Video record.
Within the notch is a 16-megapixel selfie camera and also a softlight flash for snapping bright selfies. The selfie camera has the capability to merge four pixels into one large-sized pixel so as to capture brighter images even in low-light conditions.
Other features include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth 4.2, USB OTG, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Infinix Hot S3X comes with a glass rear. and is available in Sandstone Black, Tradewinds Grey and Ice Blue.
The device will be available for sale starting November 1 in India for a price of Rs. 9,999 (roughly $1367)
