Singtel To Launch The Razer Phone 2 For S$98 On Nov 4


Slated for release on November 3, Razer's new gaming phone, the Razer Phone 2 will be launched exclusively in Singapore on Singtel as the carrier partner.


According to a release, Singtel said the Razer Phone 2 will be sold at a starting price of S$98 on a Combo 12 plan and S$918 for Combo 1 plan. The promotional bundle for the phone will include six months of its DATA X 4 add-on, which provides four times the usual monthly data for free.

"DATA X 4 offers customers substantial savings. For example, a customer on Combo 6 can get an additional 18GB of data at less than S$1 per day," Singtel's vice-president for marketing and sales MS Gen Siok Hoon said.

The Telco will also give free Hearthstone card packs along with the bundle.

During the exclusive launch of the Razer Phone 2 on Singtel on Saturday November 4, customers will get to participate in Arena of Valor and Contra mobile gaming competitions. Singtel says the first 100 customers who purchase the phone will receive a limited edition of #TEAMRAZER Gaming Pack.


Also, Singtel said that customers who buy the Razer Phone 2 and its 1+1 Gbps Fibre Pro Gamer Bundle will receive S$100 of their Razer Phones.

The telco said that existing Razer Phone customers used two times more data than the average customer.

Earlier this month, Singtel unveiled an ultra-fast broadband bundle for gamers looking to buy Razer's new Sila gaming router.

Also this month, Singtel announced that it would be working with a subsidiary and four of its associates to grow the gaming and e-sports ecosystem in Southeast Asia, Australia and India. The telco company said that it will continue to expand its suite of e-gaming products and services to provide the ultimate gaming experience at home and on the go.
