Blizzard Announces Diablo Immortal For Android, Iphone And Ipad

Blizzard has announced that it is bringing the popular Diablo to both iOS and Android platform. The company made the announcement during its BlizzCon 2018, while promising a "full-fledged action RPG" called Diablo Immortal.

Set between Diablo II: Lord of  Destruction and Diablo III, Diablo Immortal is a multiplayer online RPG action game. Players in the game will be able to drop in and out of groups and play through dynamic events as they travel through different classes of Sanctuary.

According to the company, "Diablo Immortal is an all-new mobile massively multiplayer online action-role-playing game for iOS and Android. Taking place between the end of Siablo: Lord Of Destruction and the beginning of Diablo III, this new chapter in the Diablo saga puts players in the role of one of six iconic classes---Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard--in an ongoing battle against the demonic forces of Skarn, Herald of Terror."

Blizzard explained that the game will regularly introduce new characters, storylines, and more as part of a "living breathing, and constantly evolving experience."

Here's a little informasi Blizzard shared about the storyline of Diablo Immortal:

"The Worldstone lies shattered, yet great power remains within its corrupted fragments. Power that Diablo's minions hope to harness to bring about the return of the Lord of Terror. The Archangel Tyrael is presumed dead, and mankind is left to deal with the aftermath of his actions. Fragments of the corrupted Worldstone taint the land, bringing forth ancient evils who are looking to harvest the stone's power and use it to control humanity."

Diablo Immortal is being co-developed by Blizzard and NetEase. For now, there hasn't been a release date yet for it. However, Blizzard is currently allowing players to pre-register for a chance to join the game's upcoming beta.
